If all things must come to an end

There I was, rummaging through my head. In search for the right words to fill in the void. Is it really over? Back in 2006, I did not know what to expect when I entered the music scene. All I wanted then was to express myself through my own words and melodies. Little did I know that I’ll soon be able to grasp my dreams and even more. 20 original songs. About a hundred gigs or more, everywhere in Metro Manila. 2 really talented musicians/producers backing me up. It was surreal and yet it had to end…

But if all things must come to an end, GOD will truly find a way to open up new doors for you. You just have to be patient and grateful. So, that’s exactly what I did. And we were saved!

Boy Ramos (The Thought, Watari’s Machine) and Rembrandt Vocalan (Dayuhan) are the 2 newest addition to the band. I also call them my music heroes.

Put Her Records On!

After a stressful day at work, listening to a soulful jazz music not only relaxes your body, but it also calms your mind, heart and soul as well. This is what Corrine Bailey Rae‘s music has done to me.

Her soft, serene voice alone is music to my ears. The jazzy beats and orchestraic piano and synths made it an eargasmic tune altogether. Her “Put your Records On” single is her biggest hit to date. But a lot of other songs in this album are also favorites of mine. Like a Star, Trouble Sleeping and Enchantment, to name a few.

I always carry her CD in my bag. I find it comforting that she’s there. So whenever I feel stressed or pressured at work, I just put her records on and all negative vibes are gone.

Let me start by saying “Hi”

If you happen to find yourself reading this blog and is somewhat lost; Hello there and Welcome!  Hope you find something interesting enough to stay.

Is there such a thing as a blog addict? If there is, well then, I guess I am one of them. I’ve created TONS of blogpost, wordpress, and even tumblr accounts. But I still can’t maintain any of them far long enough. Or maybe I have A.D.D.? So now, I promised myself to make a new one (and maintain it regularly), wherein I will/can post anything everything! From food, music, movie and book reviews to fashion finds, travels and the latest events around the Metro. I will also, from time to time, post pictures of moi, ’cause I have moods of dressing up too.  So, yeah, you can call it a fashion and a personal journal in one.
